When silence screams

Your eyes glisten
Your lips tautly set,
I know what I have done
I know it too well,

Your squarely rigid shoulders
Your callous and cold hands,
Tell me everything
Everything I need to know,

Lash out on me
Scold me,
Rip me
Into a million pieces,

When you say nothing
Nothing at all…my heart tugs,
I can read it in your read eyes
They flash with contempt,

Find it in your heart
To forgive my unkemptness,
For this will be the last
The last time you cry.
